| A recent business trip to the England gave us the opportunity to stop in on an alpaca breeder in hertfordshire. Located approx. 40 miles north east of London, we found a delightful herd of some 35 healthy alpacas that had survived the siege of the foot and mouth disease which occurred last year with no problems, thank goodness. Unfortunately time was pressing and we had barely time to say howdy before we moved on with a promise of coming back the next day to see a breeding or two... Unfortunately we could not fullfill this promise as other commitments over took us. | ![]() |
| Not only do Janet and Peter Garner have a fine herd of primarily Chilean alpacas but they reside in Guilden Hall, a historically signifant Manor in Guilden Morden, near Cambridge. They are admirably equipped to handle Bed and Breakfasts (B&B) and are worth a stop over if you get to the U.K. Have a look at http://www.mordenhall.co.uk/alpacas.html but don't fall in the moat... | ![]() |
