Our Second Annual Shearing Day

Bolivar SN just prior to the shearing was feeling his oats at 18 months... Watch this boy he is going to be a superstar

...oats were the last thing on his mind after the shearing. He has grave reservations about his 'chops' cut too...

The weather was perfect... the results of burning many exotic joss sticks to Murphy paid off.

We even had a couple of monstrous Llamas turn up for a quick back and sides... this produced quite a diversion and stumped the question "what's the difference between..."

The strategy was to have the Spinners and Weavers inside... but no way! The weather was so nice Lynette, Tami and Stan relocated to the outside...and yes, the port-a-potty will be relocated next year!

Another view of the same and in particular Lynette Eads AKA Mountain Lady Yarns exotic creations

...and last but not least noble El Presidente of Calpaca really getting into that loom.
