Alpaca Poop pile issue.
What really happened...
After a lot of searching around for a manure spreader and
not finding one, that pile got so big with a herd of 35 plus that I sort
of gave up and just kept stacking the new end of the pile with the tractor
and hoped that I would be able to find a home for some as it composted down
of its own accord. A year later after this steady stacking at one end, I
checked out the other end of the pile and low and behold...Composted crumbly
earth with no aroma at all! In fact, the pile is within 40feet of our swimming
pool with a screening fence in between and no one has noticed. I am glad
to say thatI am now in the process of creating my own veggy patch so that
we can be more self sufficient.
